Mid-West Opera will present it's debut production of Holt's Savitri in July 2012 as part of 'Opera at Castalia' in Kilkenny. The cast will include Richard Hayes - Baritone and Jean Wallace - Soprano.<

As well as specialising in Vocal Lessons the Academy will now also offer lessons in Piano, Violin and Guitar as well as Music Theory and Exams as appropriate. We will also continue to offer grinds and prerparation for both the Junior and Leaving Cert Syllabus.

Mid-West Opera is the latest development from the Mid-West Vocal Academy and will provide Opera Gala's, Masterclasses, fully staged Opera Scenes and short Opera's for aspiring professionals as well as talented amateurs, alongside established Irish artists.
Our mission is to encourage, enhance and develop the performance of opera in the Mid- West through lessening its elitist image and showing what a fun and worthwhile contribution it makes to the Arts in Ireland.

This is a new Choir that we are building from scratch to give something back to our community and is for anyone who is interested in singing some great music in a fun and nurturing environment!
We hope to cover everything from Jazz to Gershwin and beyond.

Deposit(s) must be paid to Mid-West Vocal Academy upon registration to secure a place and suitable time.
The balance of any fees should be paid by personal arrangement with the Academy depending on circumstances BEFORE TUITION COMMENCES.
Flexible and tailor-made payment options are available but all teaching is subject to contract with a minimum sign up of 10 lessons.
